Marcus stared at the bodies as he walked around them. Same old, same old. The boy was really honing his craft. Shame we can never take any prisoners. He laughed at this idea. Prisoners were boring. Prisoners meant taking in more men than the country already had. Best to wipe out the people and populate their lands. Plus, complete destruction was more fun. The boy kicked a charred skull from his path. Small enough to be a babies. "I hate babies!" He back tracked and slammed his heel down onto it several times. "That's better."1
"Did you ever wonder if your aversion to small children, stemmed from their aversion to you?"2
Marcus spun around to find Annette standing on a broken spire. The boy hissed and back away slowly. How the hell does she always find me? "What do you want? Shouldn't you be lying on your back some where?"3
The girl jumped down from her perch gracefully unsheathing her weapons. Before Marcus could even conjure a spell, her scimitars were at his throat. 4
Marcus eyed the blades and smiled. "From a whore to a warrior, Anatolia? I'm impressed. Though I'll always prefer your costumes to this get up." The young man fingered the cape of her dress tempting her. Annette pressed her tip to his throat. She had been waiting for this moment. But who was Anatolia? 5
"Tell you what serpent. You tell me who this Anatolia is, and I'll spare your life?" Annette relished in the blood that drained form his face.6
"Tell me where she is. Now or I'll return the blood in your veins to those who which it belongs!"7
Marcus remained quiet. He didn't know if this was a trick. Women could pull such illusions he'd be dead before he answered.8
Annette seethed and made a jagged cut through his throat. The boy fell gurgling all the while.9

Marcus looked up at the starry night sky in vain. He felt dead. More dead tan he had in a long time.11
AS he slowly sat up he realized that she was still before him. Raspy threats rang from his throat as he lunged at her. But like smoke her imaged dissipated into nothing. He turned around to see his real attacker enjoying her self.12
"Calm down. You're perfectly fine. I did warn you, you know. We all make our own choices." She walked forward and tossed a thin13
green vial into his direction. "If you want to survive this wretched life of yours you'll lead me to Anatolia."14
"And if I don't? I don't fear pain. You can bleed me a thousand times, but I'll still have enough to track you down. Who ever you are." 15
Marcus had painfully caught on to the fact that this was not the same bothersome Annie who warmed his bed back home. This creature what ever she be, was darker and evil. Now that he saw it the only thing both females share was similar features and the letter "A". This person in front of him was way to swarthy to be his Anatolia. "And what do i get in return? Besides my so called "wretched" life."16
Annette faltered thinking about her offer but not sure she could say it. All through his unconsciousness she had planned it but. Serpents never kept up with plans. "You'll get fresh unsullied blood."She tried not to grimace as pleasure and greed crept onto his face. "Do we have a deal?"17
Marcus sneered maliciously. "We have a deal."

That was amazing! I really really enjoyed it! The descriptions were well written and you kept me hooked in suspense. I'd like to know more. Even before the story was half-finished, I was being inspired.
Awesome work, good luck!
