Tormented reality

With one eye open
I look outside my window1

Never veering away from life
I see clearly beyond the clouds2

The radiant sunshine of inspiration
I close the blinds of my window3

Curling up inside a world of my own
Where the people I have created4

Can guide me into the land of dreams
And for as long as my mind does wander5

I can escape to their tormented reality6

    Its cute how you write about your little escape.. about you looking outside a window. Going into a little world of your own. My friend actually does the same thing, she explain how deep her lalaland is. xD

    Great work

    I like all aspects of this and how the beginning and end are tied together. Each aspect carries the reader to the next level and to its conclusion.
