Rain drops upon a tiny new leaf,1
As the rain sinks; a soft sound,2
The drops; they grieve,3
Only for what they’ve found.4
But before they fall they smile,5
Brilliantly glowing,6
For once in a while,7
The drops begin to move slowly.8
Falling through the forest trees,9
Past the wings of invisible fairies,10
And upon their knees,11
They are carefully carried.12
Swung high above the elegant flowers,13
There the drops fall peacefully,14
On a pillow that towers,15
Softly and caressingly.16
From there the natural crystals of the sky,17
Lie with wonder and joy they bring,18
As a young child skips on by,19
Of this rain she sings,20
Of all the joy that it brings.21
Author notes
I dont have much to say on it, I just felt like writing it.
Is all.
