A couple months went by and Alex, Jordan, Damien and I left straight from school and went to her OBGYN to have the baby checked on. She told me that they would probably be able to tell the sex of the baby today too. 1
While Alex and Jordan are in the room, Damien and I sit out in the waiting room impatiently. He drapes his arm around me and I rest my head on his shoulder. My legs bounce up and down in anticipation and I chew on my nails.2
"'Rach, calm down it's not like she's going to be in there forever." Damien tells me.3
"Well it damn well feels like it!" I shoot back at him with a playful smile. He smiles and shakes his head, "besides, I need to know what it is ok...I mean...this is like, my family!" I add dramatically.4
As though on cue Alex and Jordan come out, I rush up to them, "what is it?" I squeal excitedly.5
"It's a boy!" Alex tells me.6
"Oh my gods!" I shrill and jump up and down, hugging her. I can't hold back the excitement, it's so stupefying.7
I put my hand on Alex's stomach, "hi there little nephew!" I say happily.8
In the background I hear Damien mutter to Jordan, "holy hell she's gone bonkers." 9
I turn around and swat him in the arm, "shut up you." I say.10
"Hey! That's physical abuse! I'm suing!" Damien says, crossing his arms and pretending to pout. I smile and swat him again. "Hey!" 11
I lean into him and he puts his arms around me, "you love it." I mutter.12
"Ok so we better think of some names huh?" Jordan says as we leave.13
Alex nods and we all climb into the car, heading toward Alex and Jordan's house. 14
On our way back I feel so full of life, just so happy that Alex is ok and Jordan is ok and the baby is ok. Everything around me is real and it's as though I were opening my eyes for the first time. 15

the last 3 chapters i read are great....i can't beivle she hit the tree! well you did in real life i came to read later....what makes those two chapters great was they came from real life...even tho it wasn't a great time in life it's still nice that was the inspiration.....as for this chapter...i'm so happy to see things going okay for a them....a boy...i can't wait to see the names
