to sleep is to trust yourself
trust yourself enough to let your body and your mind be out of your control for hours at a time
you might be allowed to think that i haven't slept for a very long time
although when one does not sleep for long enough
you gain self trust very quickly
but really
think about it
there are hours and hours that we spend our lives asleep
we lie there
entirely unconscious
no control over things that are simple to do during the day
like think
you think what you want to think
and a lot of times you think what you dont want to think
but the fact is you have no control over what you think
what your minds eye sees
or what you say
if you talk in sleep
you could say anything
its scary to know
that no matter how messed up a person is
suicidal
depressed
poor
dirty
people with the lowest esteem in the world
everyone trusts themselves enough
