The nightmare refused to end. For five hours they had been stood with the stench of rot and burning as its clammy fingers prised gaps in the scarves over their mouths and wormed its way up their noses. The sickeningly sweet putrid smell was so strong that they could taste it, like a decaying kiss forcing its way between their lips. Chilling wind cut through the blackness and hissed down the small tunnel that they stood in the opening of, shielding from the hail. The clank of metal as their weapons scraped the stone sides sent them into a brief panic before they fell back into the hopeless place of death. 1

That was great! It was very dark, but in my book, that's a good thing
I would really like to read more of this, I hope you'll make it...it was really mysterious, which was very good
Great job, thanks for entering!
