Inspiration Comes From the Oddest of Places

They always said inspiration comes from the oddest places, and for me? It's the truest thing in the world.1

I once found inspiration in a person I thought was cruel and heartless, only to learn they meant so much more behind it all, and it was the addiction to the pain of heartbreak that made me come back all that time.2

I once found inspiration inspiration in a person halfway across the world I had never met, only to find out they also saw me as an inspiration for them, and our relationship only further bloomed and grew, as relationships often do.3

I once found inspiration in a dead guy I learned about in History class, who was one of those most despised men of his time, who had risen to power from nothing and slaughtered a whole group of people without one ounce of suspicion till the end of his reign.4

And today? Today I find inspiration in a person I can hardly stand, someone I'm supposed to hate, but can't help but admire. And as she sits in the Waltham House, I think about how even with all the people that dislike her, with all the troubles she's still going through, she just completely....shrugs it off, doesn't care, and moves on with her life, leaving them and her troubles behind her. And even though I've been in a rough spot or two with her, I can't help looking up to that.5
