Camp Fire Story Chapter 1

A Cereal Killers Whish List Item # 11

(Please read authors notes before reading poem)2

On his belly,3

He crawls4

Creeping slowly5

Through the ferns6

On the Forrest floor.7

Knife in his mouth8

And rage in his heart9

He reaches the perimeter10

Of the Boy Scout Camp.11

The Bonn fire12

That lit his way13

Now burnt down14

To a pile15

Of smoldering embers.16

Standing up17

The dim light before him18

Cast a shadow19

Of a Demonic Prince20

About to be baptized21

In the blood22

Of his tormentors.23

He counts the tents24

Nine small25

And one large26

Eighteen boys27

And the Scout Master.28

The condemned souls29

Of Troop Twenty-two.30

Silently he moves31

From tent to tent32

Killing only one in each.33

Cupping his hand34

Over nose and mouth35

The blade36

Slips into37

The back of their skulls38

Severing brain-stem from spine.39

A merciful death40

But these nine41

Were nice to him.42

He had a more befitting end43

For the other nine.44

How delicious the fear45

He soon would taste.46

With plastic zip ties47

He binds each one48

To the aluminum frame49

Of their cots50

And duct tapes51

Each of their mouths.52

Ah fear53

Anticipation over54

The sweet smell55

Tickles the taste buds.56

It tastes like more.57

Eyes wide58

And screaming59

For their duct taped mouths60

That can't!61

Each tent he leaves62

Reeks of fear63

And the sweet smell 64

Of blood.65

Finally66

The big tent67

The Scout Master68

The brass ring69

For the ring leader70

Of the other nine71

Who ridiculed72

And humiliated73

A boy of74

Fragile feelings.75

No piercing76

No black77

To be worn78

No Goth wanted79

Or needed80

In this81

Lily white clan82

Of do-gooder bullies!83

Go back to the freaks84

And the cellar dwellers85

You came from.86

Misfits87

Aren't welcome here!88

The big tent89

Looms before him.90

Stealthily91

He enters the tent92

Carrying a big stone93

From the fire ring.94

Still hot95

And burning his hand.96

He doesn't let go97

The tactile sensation98

Of physical pain99

Feels good100

But can't over shadow101

The pain in his heart.102

It only clarifies his vision103

Of baptism by fire.104

Standing over the big man105

In the big tent106

Rock held high107

Over the sleeping mans head108

He yells109

Hey you fucking scumbag!110

Eyes open111

And the rock drops.112

Not enough to kill him.113

He doesn't get off114

That easy!115

With his mouth116

Duct taped117

He makes sure118

The Scout Master's eyes119

Recognize him120

Before duct taping121

Them shut.122

Ah sensory deprivation123

Really heightens the fear!124

The Demonic Prince125

Is awakened126

He smells fear127

The Scout Master128

Is ripe with it!129

Leaving the big tent130

He gets to work131

Dragging all the ones132

That were nice to him133

out of their tent's134

And ties them standing135

Against the trees136

facing the fire137

So they can watch138

The festival of blood139

And the baptism by fire 140

Through the lifeless eyes141

Of unfortunate innocence.142

First stage of the play set143

He frolics through the forest144

Gathering enough wood145

For a Bonn fire.146

The sweet smell147

Of blood and fear148

Drifts through the forest149

Here in Yellowstone Park150

And is picked up by the wolves.151

Gray is their coat152

And black is their heart.153

Creatures of the night154

Undeniably bound155

To the Demon Prince.156

He bids them157

Wait158

Not yet159

But soon!160

The full Moon161

Lights his way162

To the dying embers163

Of the camp fire.164

The wolves balefully howl165

At the Moon166

And wait.167

As if gliding in168

On a low lying mist169

That blankets170

The forest floor171

He drops172

His load of wood173

By the fire.174

Back into the big tent175

For the coiled rope176

He'll need 177

To complete178

This Demonic179

Work of art.180

For fun181

He whispers182

In the mans ear183

Thank you so much184

For unlocking185

The evil186

That dwells within.187

Couldn't have happened188

Without you!189

Like steam190

Rising off a pot191

Of boiling water192

He could see the fear193

Rising up194

Off of him.195

Delicious!196

Wait Not yet197

But soon!198

His hand reaches down199

To the place200

On the mans head201

Where the rock hit.202

He gathers up203

The still drying blood.204

He paints his face205

Licking his hands clean206

When he's done.207

Now for the rope208

Up and over209

The closest branch210

To the fire.211

The wolves 212

Howl at the Moon213

Still keeping their distance.214

He rips the shirt215

From his body216

Leaving on217

His camouflage pants218

And shit kicker boots.219

One by one220

He drags the nine221

From their tents.222

As he removes each one223

He stops to paint himself224

With the blood of the innocent's 225

Nine Boy Scouts226

Bound and gaged227

Nine strokes 228

Of innocent blood229

Decorated his body.230

Nine cots faced the fire231

Upside down232

He removed the duct tape233

From their mouths234

So the Scout Master235

Could hear their screams.236

With the rope237

Tied to the cot238

One by One239

He lowered them240

Feet first241

Into the roaring Bonn fire.242

With each and every243

Blood curdling scream244

The sweet smell of fear245

Grew thicker.246

Each scream247

A paint stroke248

On the canvas249

Of his Masterpiece!250

He danced around251

Each and every one of them252

As he scorched their feet253

Beyond use! 254

Poetry in motion255

His beautiful256

Human effigies!257

Slowly258

He pulls them up259

Long before...260

They could pass out.261

He wanted them awake262

for the final act!263

He stood all nine264

Right side up265

And with a sinister laugh266

That only the blackest of hearts267

Could appreciate268

He advised them.269

Hold your breath270

And do not scream 271

Or you'll scorch your lungs272

And ruin my dream.273

One by one274

He lowered them275

Face first276

Into the fire.277

Just a few seconds278

Enough to make them blind279

Though no one would accuse him280

Of being over kind!281

He laid them down282

And cut them free283

As the innocents mocked them284

Tied to their trees.285

And they stumbled blindly286

On their hands and their knees.287

With the final act288

Nearing its end289

the Demonic Prince290

Dragged out their best friend.291

The Scout Master you see292

Had his eyes on me293

He really wanted to be294

My very best friend295

But my ass would not part296

And my knees would bend297

He already had nine298

But he wanted ten299

This coward did to boys300

What he couldn't do to men!301

In the middle of nine boys302

All writhing in pain303

He placed the Scout Master304

Who was nearly insane.305

Cutting all the tend-ants306

In his arms and his legs307

And tearing the clothes 308

From his body309

Cutting the bonds310

That held him to the cot311

He leaves him312

With the motor functions313

Of a newborn.314

Tearing off the duct tape315

Recognition shows in his eyes316

he looks down and says317

Thank you for awakening318

The darkness inside.319

Behold your creation320

I am the Demonic Prince321

The son of Satan!322

Before you die323

I will give you324

What you wanted325

So badly in life326

And hold your manhood327

In my loving arms.328

The Demonic Prince smiles329

As he reaches down with his knife330

And cuts off the scum bags penis331

And throws it in the fire.332

Blood flowing out333

With every beat of his heart334

Satan's Prince335

Pulls from the fire336

A burning stick337

And cauterizes the wound.338

Can't have you dying 339

Just yet340

My children341

Like their food342

Alive!343

The Demonic Prince344

Howled at the Moon345

It's dinner time346

My little Demons.347

And as he danced 348

Out of the camp site349

The wolves pranced in!350

He danced down the path351

To the rhythm352

Of the screams and the howls.353

He danced until the sound354

Faded into the distance355

At the end of the path.356

He climbs into his mothers357

Ford explorer358

And pulls a note pad359

Off the passenger seat.360

At the top of the first page361

Is a title "Revenge".362

He picks up a pen363

And crosses off364

The first item on the list365

And looks at the next item366

And laughs.367

The sinister laugh368

That only the blackest of hearts369

Could appreciate.370

The next item on the list371

How could I forget372

My High School foot ball team!373

But that's a story374

For another time375

Boys and girls376

So until we meet again377

Goodnight! 378

  • Not to my taste. But, of course, that is very personal.
It is, as you suggest, demonic if not just plain horrible. It is also as if the reader is invited to participate in the filth.
On a basic English note: apostrophes are sometimes used where they do not belong, ( out of their tent's) and, conversely, not used where they should be ( In the mans ear; He climbs into his mothers Ford explorer).

I suggest that Bonn fire should read bonfire each time used and that you mean gagged where you have gaged, as well as overshadow where you have over shadow. Do you mean tendons where you have tend-ants?

The whole is maintained with great impetus.
