It was Thanksgiving night. Danica sat in the living room with her parents, who were fighting. 1
"James! I will not take this anymore! I am leaving and taking Danica with me!" Patricia, her mom, said.2
"Oh no you won't! Danica is staying right here with me."3
Danica, after hearing this, burst into tears and ran up to her room. She just wanted to run away and not see any of her parents. She was sick and tired of them fighting.4
Just then, James ran up and took Danica in his arms.5
"Just get out and leave! You are never seeing Danica again!" 6
