Kitty went to school with a heavy heart. Her mom was dating? With out asking her? Angry and hurt, Kitty turned down the road to the bus stop. As the bus pulled up, She bought a ticket and sat down at the back.1
"Hey mommy, where are we going?"2
Kitty heard a little kid asked.3
"We're going to see daddy at work."4
The kid mom answered. 5
Kitty felt a lump in her throut. Why couldn't her daddy be her. Then she wouldn't be her, with her mom dating.6
Blinking back her tears, Kitty pulled out her mobile phone. Dialing the number her dad had given her, she held up the phone to her ear and held her breath.7
"The number is not availible." 8
She heard the annoying operator say.9
"Please try again later."10
Kitty's mouth twisted in hate. None of her family was there for her in her time of need.11
"I wish I never came to Greensville."12
She said, hating the sound of the very word. Kitty remembered when her parents had announced they were moving.13

"Hey kids,"15
Mom had called.16
"Come to the lounge room. We need to tell you something."
When moving down the stairs, a 9 year old Kitty could harldly contain her excitment. Maybe they where getting a puppy, or building a swimming pool.17
When she had finally entered the lounge room, her mother had motioned for her to sit on the couch.18
