The sound of a honking horn woke me from my half and hour nap. I was laying on the sofa in my one room apartment. Sitting up I 1

looked at the time to see that it was 7:00 A.M. It was time for me to head to the bar to see if there were any new bounties up. 2

Past: I was a smart kid when I was in school. But when the war happened I lost site of my dream. My dad died of ALS(muscle killing disease) and my mother died from a heart attack. At the age of 16 I was on my own. I went to the only person that I knew would help me. My uncle taught me everything that I know. How to use guns, swords, and fists.10

Weaknesses: Loves any guy with long hair, has a soft spot for animals, loves children. I won't kill anyone innocent.11

Advantages: Can calculate any given situation and come up with as many different scenarios as possible. Great with hand to hand combat.12

Grabbing my jacket from the back of the coach as I made my way to the front door, glancing briefly to see if my hair was alright. 13

Once done with the beauty check I headed out the door stepping over some drunkard that had fallen asleep in front of my door. Making my way to the lobby of the apartment building I nodded to the landlord on my way out. 14

Walking down the street I took notice to how chaotic this world has come. Thought we have made many advancements, the world had finally lost it's nuts when World War III began. All of the countries fought against each other. It all began when everyone ran out of oil. People were fighting to keep their cars on the road. Then it all went down hill from there. 15

Coming out of my flashback I realized that I was in front of the bar, Twin Wing. The owners of the bar, that's right owners. There were two of them, and they were both twins. They both had chin length red hair, green eyes, and tan skin. They stood about 6'. 16

Walking into the bar I waved to Rowen which was the oldest of the two by 19 seconds. Coming over I glanced around for Alex. I saw him cleaning up some puke in the corner. Grimacing I made my way over to the bar.17

"So Rowen how's work for ya?" - I asked. 18

"Good so far how 'bout you? Heard you knocked another bounty last week, pretty penny 'e was worth too." - He said drying out one of the glasses. 19

"Oh him, he was an easy catch. Begged at my feet like a dog." - I said. 20

"Hah, still the same old Raiya, they don't call you Bloody Kiss for nothing. So what'll it be?" - He asked. 21

"Just give me the usual." - I said. "Any new posts?"22

"Yah this guy named Maxi Paddy I think, 'e's killed three men, one was a distant cousin to a politician." - He said handing me my beer. 23

"Really? What's his bounty?" - I asked. 24

"I believe it was 8000 credits." - He said tending to another customer. 25

Credits were like money, but are worth a lot more. One credit in dollars is at least 100 dollars. That's a lot of money!26

"Maybe I'll go after him next, rent's due this month." - I said. 27

"Just be careful going after 'im, heard he's a real fighter. 'e was an illegal bare knuckle boxing champ that lost 'is title." - He said. 28

"Well I'm not exactly a whore on the corner." - I said. "Tell Alex I said hi." 29

I grabbed my beer and headed over to the board were they post the bounties. Looking them over I found Maxi Paddy's bounty. I grabbed the poster before anyone saw and shoved it into my pocket. Once I finished my beer I headed home to get my weapons.30

My weapons consisted of: two Compact semi-automatic Smith & Wesson .45 ACP Chief's Special — Model CS45, two machetes, one The 7.62x51mm M40, standard-issue sniper rifle. I had all the ammo anyone could use for their guns, I also had a sword just in case I needed to go primal. 31

Once I stocked up on weapons I headed to one of my contacts hiding places, the ruins. What's left over from the inner city after the war. After walking over some pasted out people, and trash I finally reached his hiding place. Knocking on the door I yelled.32

"Allen, I need you to make my day!" - I yelled. 33

"Go away dam.....ah Raiya, what brings you hear?" - He asked. 34

"Information on a bounty." - I said. 35

"Well then you've come to the right place. " - He said. 36

"I know I have, now what do you know about Maxi Paddy?" - I asked.37

"Not much the most I could give you is where he was heard of last." - He said. 38

"That's good enough." - I said. 39

~Fast Forward a week later~40

I sighed once again as the lead I was on ended in a dead end. I was currently sitting at a bar in old New York City. The bartender gave me a sympathetic look then gave me another beer.41

"On the house." - He said.42

"Thanks." - I said. 43

As I took another swig I noticed that there was a man sitting in a corner. He fit the description of Maxi Paddy. 6'2", lead build, dark hair, dark eyes, and tanned skin. He glanced at me and quickly looked away. I will admit he was quite the looker, but I don't go for guys with short hair. I grabbed my beer and walked over to him. I sat down in his booth.44

"Hey, you a regular here?" - I asked him.45

"Not really, just passing through." - He said while staring at his drink. 46

"The names Raiya." - I asked him. "Have you ever heard of Maxi Paddy?"47

He went stiff and looked around quickly. He gripped his bottle tighter then let out a raspy sigh. 48

"Yah I've heard of him. What do you want with him?" - He asked. 49

"I want him so I can get the bounty on his head." - I said plainly, taking a swig of my beer. 50

"There's a bounty on my head?" - He asked looking me strait in the eye.51

"You didn't know?" - I asked. 52

"No, I guess that means you want to kill me?" - He asked.53

"No I don't want to kill you. I won't kill anyone unless I know they aren't innocent. Otherwise I just want to turn you in so I can pay this months rent." - I said. 54

"So you won't kill me?" - He asked.55

"Not if you don't want me to." - I said. 56

"Then you can take me in. I didn't do anything that they have probably said about me. I tell you it was all that politician's fault. His daughter had a fascination with me so he wanted to get rid of me before his daughter go any more attached." - He said. 57

"Then I'll turn you in, but once your in and I get the credits. I'll bust you back out kay?" - I said. 58

"You really believe me?" - He asked in disbelief. 59

"Your eyes show that you are an innocent person at heart." - I said. "Let's get out of here, well stay at an inn."60

Walking down the street I heard some ruckus coming from one of the ally ways. I peered down the ally to see that five men were beating a boy around the age of 8. I had a thing about people beating children. I told Maxi to wait at the entrance of the ally while I took car of it. 61

"Why don't you pick on someone your own size." - I said. 62

"Well what have we got here?" - The one closest to me said. 63

"Looks like we got us a nice catch boys." - The leader said. 64

"Help!" - the boy yelled before he was back handed. 65

Before I could get my gun, the one closest to me grabbed my wrists. He then pinned me to the wall. I kicked him in the groin, and he crouched down to nurse his injury. The rest of them looked bewildered for a moment before attacking. Two of them grabbed me from behind, one in front, the other on the boy. The one in front of my punched me in the stomach, then punched me in the face. He was about to punch me again when he was suddenly ripped away from me. 66

Maxi came to my rescue, getting the rest of the group. All accept for one. One of them still had the little boy. 67

"Don't move or I'll blow the kids brains out." - He said. 68

Since Maxi was in front of me the guy couldn't really see me. I grabbed my hand gun and took of the safety. Taking aim I fired and hit the guy in the shoulder. He release the kid. The kid ran for it yelling thanks.69

When all of the guy woke up they ran for the hills. After that me and Maxi went on our way to the inn. 70

~Fast forward to after turning him in~71

"There you go Raiya, all 8000 credits have been put into your account." - Said the clerk.72

"Thanks." - I said. 73

Looking around me I found that no one was watching Maxi. I walked over to him and gave him a wink. We had already planned the master escape plan. Time to start the show. 74

"What did you just say to me you scum bag?" - I yelled.75

"I said that your a nasty whore!" - Maxi yelled.76

I pulled out my gun and shot him dead in the chest. Right through the heart. 77

"This whore just killed your ass." - I said. 78

They quickly picked up his body and took him to a back room. I left through the front door and around the back. Allen, was in the building getting Maxi. After waiting about 10 minutes. I heard the door open to reveal Maxi and Allen. 79

"That was pretty convincing." - Allen said. 80

"Yah I know." - I said. 81

After that we all parted ways. Maxi and I have become great friends and Allen is the same old Allen. 82

~Fast Forward Five Years~83

I was sitting in at the bar in Twin Wing. Beside me was Maxi, he had let his hair grow out and it was now to his mid back. Mine was to my knees. We had gotten together two years after I had 'killed' him. He has even asked me to marry him. I said yes to him, but no to having kids. I love then to death, but I don't want any of my own. And so ends the tail of Bloody Kiss and Maxi Paddy.84
