Ra'Lin (part five)

Lonely was the Queen of the Dragons, that a message was sent out unbeknown to dear Ra'Lin.1

So, they came from far and wide, trying to win Ra'Lin's favor. But, they all forgot one thing, upon seeing this fair maiden. She was the Queen of the Dragons. She went and brought them one at a time into the cavern that would become their home. Only to have them removed upon seeing the Dragons as the all wanted to kill her clan.7

There was once over two hundred dragons and now she was down to the last ten in all the lands. Five were knights and four were kings, but only one was a simple guard. She brought the kings in one at a time, each said she would have to move for they would not leave their lands.8

Sadness was setting in when the knights drew their swords trying to kill her children the dragons of the clan. With a heavy heart she brought in the last man, thinking he would be just like the other ones, But when he got down on bended knee to the mother dragon and asked her for Ra'Lin's hand in marriage, joy filled her heart once more.9

The dragons knew that their King had come home at last. A lowly guard from a far off land, remembered what the protocol was and even though she was their Queen the dragon's still ruled the land.10

So, do not worry if your not a king or a knight for even a guard can win the hand of a lady and a Queen.
