Draven's call {4}

Calie hit the floor. 1

Draven looked around only to see her laying there, covered in her own blood. He looked from where the shots came and saw Tithal standing there, with a gun. Tithal never fought this way, he always used sense and mind power. Since when does he use guns?!?!?! And wasn't he dead???2

Draven looked at Tithal, with an evil sadistic smirk on his face. 3

"You really think you're something don't you? You think you can just come in here, after taking away MY IMMORTALITY and almost KILLING ME, you just want to kill her now don't you???? You have taken away one thing that I cherish, now you have to take EVERYTHING I EVER HAD!!!" 4

Tithal was just standing there in the window seal.5

"Yes actually, good job, you figured out my plan. Whoop DE DOO. Well now, go and help her, and die, or fight me, and die. Either way you will die, just a question though, do you WANT to try to kill me first?? I am of course, mortal now." 6

Draven ran to the kitchen and grabbed a few knives. 7

"Fight ME, NOW"8

Tithal looked happy as Draven ran towards him.9

They fought.10

Tithal grabbed the knives from Draven as Draven wrestled the gun out of his hands. Somehow they had switched weapons.11

"Oh my, big man has my gun now. What you going to do??? Kill ME??? I can die, yes, but you don't have the guts, you don't have the power, you don't have the ner-"12

Draven shot Tithal five times, once in the chest, one in each leg, one on his left arm, and one right between the eyes. 18

"Nerve, it's the nerve my friend. I had it in me because you took the best thing I EVER had. You asked for it."19

Draven dropped the weapon and ran towards Calie laying on the floor.20

Her body was drenched in her own blood and her hand was over her chest. She had two bullet wounds in her stomach. He held her tightly and cried.21

Calie was barely breathing.22

Draven picked her up and ran her to the hospital. Not any mortal hospital, a hospital known as Living Mercy For The UN-Human. The witch doctors said they have done all they can, but there isn't much time. She won't make it. 23

Draven hit the floor with his knees begging for mercy. He begged and begged, praying and begging and crying his little heart out. 24

(Sobbing) 25

"Isn't there, some kind of-off potion ooh-or s-something?" 26

The witch doctor told him.27

"We have used all our possible magic we can without damaging her breathing conditions. There's a small chance she will make it. But-"28

Draven got furious.29

"BUT??? But what??? SHE WILL MAKE IT OR ELSE."30

The doctor told him he was sorry.31

"There's nothing we can do sir. We have done all we can. Just pray, hope and just....believe in magic. No need for threats. Trust me, if you love her, she will live..."32

Draven went into her hospital room and waited with her. She looked so pale, so dead, so....fake.33

"Calie, please, you have to wake up, you have to make it...I can't live without you. I CAN'T SURVIVE WITHOUT YOUR LOVE!!!!!! You-you-you are all I ever had.Please don't go. PLEASE!!!"34

Hours past. 35

Days soon rolled by.36

Ten days later the doctor stepped out of her hospital room and looked at Draven who had been waiting there beside her bed all he could, but was now in the waiting room while the Witch Doctors did a diagnosis.37

"Draven"38

The doctor didn't look happy.39

(Sobbing)40

"No...please...no.."41

"Draven...listen to me...She-"42

Draven kept interrupting the doctor.43

"She can't please.. no...nooooooooooo..NO!!!"44

"DRAVEN,she IS breathing. And she is BARELY living. But-"45

"OH MY GOD. PLEASE LET ME SEE HER!!!"46

"Draven, she lost a lot  of her blood. She is very pale. You need to take her someplace safe. Somewhere she can retrieve blood. But it has to be vampire blood. Actual blood she can stabilize."47

Draven agreed when the doctor was walking him to Calie's room. 48

(In a whisper of a tone)49

"Dra-draven... Is that y-y-you? Come to m-me Dr-Draven."50

"Calie!!! I am sorry, I love you here... take this..."51

Draven lifted up his collar on his shirt and allowed Calie to drink from him.52

Hours later they were both OK, in Dravens's home sitting in a circle of candles.53

"Draven, thank you.. I wouldn't have made it without you, but now.."54

Draven lost some of his Vampire blood and was now half mortal half vampire. Calie was also half vampire half mortal cause she lost all of her vampire blood.55

"Yeah, I know. I'm sorry I couldn't have given you more blood. Then you would just have killed me...Heh"56

"Draven, I love you. Even though we are both half mortal. I still love you, and always will... Thank you. For everything I mean..."57

They held hands, hugged, kissed, then laid down to go to rest after letting the candles burn down to their very core. 58

Calie and Draven died two years after that. They both got into a car accident with a semi-truck.  Calie was in the passenger seat, Draven in the drivers seat. They both died at exactly 8:42 p.m. on that Saturday night. Now both of them live as free, completely in love, seldom bothered, souls in heaven.59
