For Christmas I wish for the one thing that I cannot have...at least not for a long time. That would be for my freedom. 1
Right now I am locked away in prison for the first time in my life and I shall be here for a long period. So I suppose I should be settling in and getting comfortable. But this is not the sort of place for that. I shall be here throughout six holiday seasons. 2
Being here makes me appreciate many of the things that I simply took for granted when I had my freedom. Many simple things that I now miss. Wish I am sure I shall have again but it is going to take some time. 3
All I want for Christmas is my freedom. Someday I shall get my wish. Believe me I shall never take it for granted again.

I am sorry that you made a mistake that ended you up where you are. We all make mistakes and hopefully, we learn from them. I think that you will probably get your wish but not in time for christmas sadly. However, I do bet that you celebrate the first one that you do have free and with lots of friends. I hope that even tho you are were you are you do find some happiness in the holidays. Thanks for sharing this wish with us and thanks for entering into my contest.

I hope you get what you desire most. Most of my friends have gone through that and I cant imagine what its like. They're older then me, and it it blew my mind away when i first found when some of them were locked up. Most of them were in their starting the year i was born...and got out like 3 or 4 years ago....I hope you get your freedom. I'm sorry you're stuck there for now.
