I'm Here

I'm dead1

But I have no grave2

From the trees, there falls a leaf.3

For every word I forget to say.4

For every kiss I forget to give.5

I'm here.6

But in the darkness I hide.7

From the sky, there drops a tear.8

For all those I never saw you cry.9

We are those who roam.10

For all those that is left behind.11

We hide between the shadows.12

And in the corners of your mind.13

Like a child with no name.14

Like a dog with no home,15

My life, with you, is over.16

And I'm just flowers and stone.17

But here I am18

Right next too you.19

Watching you live your life.20

Tell me why do you cry for me.21

My body is gone.22

But I have not died.23

oh wow this is a deep poem I think. The last lines hit me the hardest I think... my body is gone... but I have not died. To me this means that you live on in their memories which to me is a good thing. Thanks for sharing this lovely write. And thanks for entering this into my contest.
