Aeroview High: Meet the Characters

Five major characters in order of importance: 1

Derek da Silva: Derek is a fourteen year old boy with dirty blond short messy hair. He has a somewhat greenish colored eyes. Coming from pure Portuguese parents, Derek is a freshman at Aeroview High School. He is a great kid all around and he really cares for his friends. He has very high confidence and is not afraid of sticking up to somebody. Although his high confidence is good, sometimes it gets him into trouble when facing dangerous situations. He tends to think nothing can go wrong. He has a secretive crush on his childhood friend Brooke and his new friend Katarzyna.2

Brooke Braga: Brooke is fourteen is a little shorter than Derek. She has beach blond hair that goes down to her breasts. She has bright blue eyes and is often mistaken of a spoiled brat. She is half Portuguese and half Colombian, but she likes to consider herself mainly Colombian. She goes to school with Derek and is also a freshman. Brooke has been friends with Derek since birth because her parents and Derek's are great friends. Brooke is very funny, she loves to make jokes. She is also very outgoing. She loves to meet new people and isn't scared of it. When it comes to dangerous situations she is always using logical thinking which often gets Derek mad. Her know-it-all can get the best of her sometimes. She has recently developed a little crush for Derek.3

Aden Dumune: Aden is fourteen and is also a freshman at Aeroview High School. He has many nationalities. German, American, French, and many more. He is very shy and very scared. He doesn't like meeting new people but once he accounts somebody as his friend he gets very open and is a new person. He doesn't like to take risks and is always pressured by Derek to do an outrageous stunt. Although many people think he's smart he is struggling in school and on the verge of staying back. 4

Zack Iorio: Zack recently in the story just turned fifteen, and goes to school with the rest of the gang. He has brown bushy hair with brown eyes and is fully Italian. He stands a little taller than the rest at 5'7". He has a very crude sense of humor and although he doesn't mean it sometimes he comes out with the impression that he's really mean. He loves to be very sarcastic which gets him into deep trouble sometimes. Zack likes to fit in and does bad things so that the higher grades think that he's cool. 5

Katarzyna Jankowski: Katarzyna goes to Aeroview High School as a freshman as a fourteen year old and is 100% Polish. She has long silky dark brown hair and bright green eyes. She is Brooke's height. She loves to flirt. Katarzyna is very manipulative and uses her flirting to get her way. Many guys have crushes on her and although she flirts she doesn't constantly have new boyfriends. Just meeting Derek she thinks he's the perfect guy. She has a big crush on him and she's always trying to hint it at him. The problem is that she is so flirtatious that people don't know when she's actually flirting. Sometimes she has an attitude problem and thinks the world is always out to get her.6

Other Important Characters (Alphabetical Order):8

Jamal Clarke: Jamal is a handsome fourteen year old freshman Jamaican boy. He has short curly black hair and is tall at 5'7". He is an average kid and is all around friendly. Nothing is really known about him because he likes to keep to himself. He is good friends with Hermes.9

Isaac Flats: Isaac is fifteen and a freshman too. He is the identical twin brother of Isabella. Green eyes, 5'5", same face, except he has thin black hair that covers half of his ears and his eyebrows. His nationality is unknown. Isaac is very conserved and keeps to himself. He likes to wear black and is often called goth because of it.10

Isabella Flats: Isabella is fifteen and a freshman. Her nationality is unknown. She has long dirty blond wavy hair and green eyes. She always wears skinny headbands around her forehead. Isabella is different, she is misunderstood because she is very quiet. When she's with friends she's very open and considered a good kind of weird. She is very loyal to her friends and sticks to her word. She is about 5'5", just like her twin brother Isaac. Isabella and Isaac are identical except for their hair color. 11

Hermes Johnson: Hermes recently transferred to Aeroview High as a freshman from a different state. He's fourteen purely American. He has short black hair with blue eyes and is very short and has trouble with making new friends. Brooke first approached him when he came into the school the first day and introduced him to the others. He is extremely smart for his age and is often approached by people for advice. He is sometimes picked on by other people.12

Takeesha Linae: Takeesha is a cute bubbly tall freshman at the same high school as the others. She is Haitian and Jamaican and has huge curly black hair and brown eyes. Her age is unknown but it is either fourteen or fifteen. Takeesha is Katarzyna's good friend and is just like her, very outgoing. Takeesha is more wild though, she's always the life of the party and she loves attention.
