A Christmas wish...

For Christmas this year,I don't really want anything for me. You see I just turned 18 and found out I am going to be a mommy. The daddy however more then likely won't be around. When he found out he was happy,but not because he was going to be a daddy,but because he had yet another hold on me,or so he thought. He got too controling and even pushed me around, I had to leave you understand so my baby wouldn't be affected by his temper. I got threats after threats,but I stuck with it. I have family members helping keep him away. 1

So the only thing I want for Christmas is to know my baby is o.k and that he/she has whatever it is that they need. I want the strength to go back to school so that may child has a good influence in their lives.

    Hello..I have a friend who is 15 and expecting. She's stuck in a worse situation than you...I'm sure she must be in a lot of pain right now too...though I have no clue, can't read minds.
    Would you like to talk to her? She's not very experienced about the world...

    I'm glad that you got yourself away from that man (((Hugs))). And I hope that you get your wish. It sounds like you are going to be a wonderful mom. I think you have a very strong head on your shoulders and thankfully you have some family support too.

    wow this is a great wish and a very touching one. You are definitely a strong woman and I respect what you did. You left a bad situation before it could get worse and perhaps hurt you and/or your child. Perhaps this "daddy" will grow up and realize he has responsibilites now that he will be a daddy. And be able to help you out. Thanks for sharing this and thanks for entering it into my contest. I do hope that you and your child are both healthy and happy for the upcoming holidays.

    I'm glad you got out of that situation with your baby's father. The only thing you want for Christmas is for your baby to be well, that's admirable. It's great that you have goals so you can provide a better life for your child.=)
