Writeing....its good for the soul

I would have to say that I was inspired to write because of my love of reading books. You see it all started when I was very young. I can remember going to the library with my mom,and getting a ton of books( I grew up with no tv) now this was before I even started school I did'nt know how to read but that never stopped me from opening up the book and reading it to my younger brother. 1

I would look at the picture and make up my own stories which would entertain my brother and I for hours. I also use to make up stories for my brother when he was sick I would tell him he had a bad faerie inside of him that was so small she would sneak into his nose at night and go down in his body and twist his guts to make his belly hurt and other stuff, but I don't remember it all. I never got to take creative writing in high school and I really wanted to I struggled to get thru high school and am not really book smart. 2

About two years ago I decided that since I love to read so much I would love to try and write short stories or something, anything really to get my imagination going( its not what it use to be like when I was young) and if it worked out I would maybe get more serious and take a class or something. But I have yet to do that, I have found storywrite to be a wonderful place, it has helped to get my creative juices flowing. I even wrote my first story on here woohoo. 3

I am not the type of person who would write about there life, I like to write stuff that is make believe.... love  the fantasy stuff you know, dragons,faeries and witches oh my. Because some where inside I know the child in me still believes in all that.
