Draven's call {2}

The night had passed and morning was abroad. Calie awoke to the sounds of screams and words of pain and agony. She woke up screaming, Draven shook her body and was a little scared.1

"Calie are you OK!?!?!?"2

"DRAVEN! Your still here...I-I guess I had a nightmare, but it all seemed so real, it just, please don't leave me I-"3

Calie looked as though she was about to cry.4

Draven took her hand and whispered...5

"It's OK, I've got you, I'm here to stay, I promise...What happened?? In your dream I mean?"6

Calie stood up and starting pacing the room as though there was little time.7

"He came back, to kill you, to take your soul, to make you......mortal...he wants to kill us Draven, both of us... we can't let him...we can't"8

"Tithal? But he's dead, you killed him...He can't come back Calie. Believe me when I say this, he WONT come back, EVER."9

Calie ran and hugged Draven as the tears were streaming down her face. 10

"I know Draven, I know. It's just, I'm not so sure what is going to happen to me, do I need to go to the other realm or what? I don't belong here, I shouldn't be alive, I was supposed to die the other night...He was supposed to-"11

Calie's eyes grew bigger with morbid distortion as she fainted and fell to the ground.12

"OH MY GOD CALIE, ARE YOU OK?"13

No response.14

"Calie, PLEASE, say something!! ANYTHING!!"15

She was just laying there, motionless. Could it be? Draven kept thinking to himself that this was his fault, no it couldn't be, it was her dream, her nightmare, her.....Dejavu. This was really happening, Tithal came back and he put a spell on her(He was a vampire hunter, practiced Wicca to use as a self defence mechanism). 16

"CALIE...please..wake up..plea-"17

Draven fell instantly to the floor. Only waking up seconds later yet this time he was invisible, he was hiding, he had this feeling that there was a presence among him and his girlfriend's tedious body. 18

The rain started to pour as Calie finally woke up, Tithal woke the dead, the undead, and the non-human. He did it, he made Draven a mortal, he promised to give him a few hours before he came back to kill them. Draven had no choice, it was either Draven's immortality....or Calie's life. No doubt about it he chose to give up his immortality. 19

"Draven, he had me, he made me feel weird, I think he took something from me. Am I alive??? Am I dead??Are WE dead????? DRAVEN WHERE ARE YOU?? I CAN'T SEE YOU PLEASE WHERE ARE YOU???"20

A noise crept from behind the curtains in Dravens old house which had been abandoned after his disappearance.21

"Draven? Is that you?"22
