Tender Hearts Break Hard

When one gives their heart away
and shows loves to all around
they had best be very strong
or hearts might be pounded in the ground.1

Tender souls soft and frail
caring for others over self
better watch all that they do
or find their love on a shelf.2

When a tender heart
should break in two,
many don't know just
what it is they should do.3

But if broken and with help
can be healed and made whole
but it only will take time
if the truth is to be told.

    Ahhh how sad and touching...I agree that tis best to be strong rather than being too tender and being hurt so easily.
