The point of view of this novel/novella in the making is going to be told from multiple points of views. Thus, keeping the reader entertained, as well as giving everyone insight in the minds of certain key characters. The main characters P.O.V. that will be used through out the story is: Elena; Jake; Alistair; and the occasional P.O.V from another of the characters. 10

The tone is rather fast paced. It will consist of varoious different moods, all according to the direction my imagination sends my writing hand in. The moods will switch from faced paced to slow descriptive, fanatical, romance or flirty, to serious and suspenseful/ tension filled.12

1) Jake's ring: symbolizes power of a nation/group, Is the sole symbol of the successor to the throne, grants power to it's wearer.
2) Elena's markings: symbolizes the embodiment of the moon goddess, means purity and love.

Sounds like an interesting concept...
Kinda some where between 'Ginger Snaps' & 'Rise of the Lycans' & although its hard to come up with something totally original with such genres of werevolves & vampires, its not impossible... I think you have a great chance with this, just try to keep thinking outside of the box as Moon's Fury would suggest you are... Basically, draw on the familiar concepts & lore & create something new & uniquely you...

Your main problem here of course is not how good your story is. There are so many Vampire/werewolf books/movies out now that you have to do something really different to get noticed. When a genre becomes oversaturated you have to put a new twist on it. It can be POV at the most basic level, or it can be something as simple as the setting. Every successful author does something different, that's the challenge and it makes writing and reading all the more fun. -

Thank you for the very helpful tip. I kind of knew that already, but it always helps when someone reinforces it; since a writer can easily get sidetracked from the plot. XD I think that is the hardest part, being just one of the many yet standing out within that number. I hope my novel in progress seems different than most other werewolf stories, atleast that is what I have been told so far. Though trying to help the story keep its individuality is far harder than I thought. LOl Again, thank you for the reminder, it will be very helpful to me in my upcoming chapters.
