"Gah dang, I'm gonna be late..." I got out of bed sluggishly, but tried to quicken my step when i looked at the clock and saw i had 10 min to get ready and get there. "Shoot! Shoot, shoot, SHOOT!" I slipped on my tan pants and black button down shirt and my lime green converse and ran out the door. Glad I work at coffee shop I skipped breakfast. Much of what I was feeling that morning was from what happened at the end of the school year.

You didn't follow directions! In order to submit something for option #6 you were supposed to message me with a summary asking for permission to enter it. But, since this was pretty short, I'll let it go.
It's an interesting beginning, but there isn't much to it. At this point the story could be about anything. Great cliffhanger though. Thank you for entering my contest.
