In love with words

I have always loved music, songs, their words, the way
they can tell a story, and make you feel happy,
or sad.1

I started keeping a diary when I was seven.  I loved
to write. Making up silly songs, and commercial "ditties"
I would fill page after page of my ramblings. When I got
to first grade, I would write paragraphs rather than sentences.
I worked in the library in grade school, and was lucky enough to meet several authors. High school brought praises from my teachers, as I became a poet, story writer, and teller. Clarence the Dragon, one of my characters, was "born" thirty some years ago. 2

I still keep a diary, write poetry or prose every day and
have self published a couple of books.3

It's my little legacy to my family and friends.

wow you and I are very similar. I too worked in a library at school. And I also worked at one when I became an adult. I however, never really began writing til I was an adult. I did however, read everything I could get my hands on. I started writing as a game when I had this pen pal and we started sending each other parts of sentences, paragraphs, stuff like that and telling the other one to... go for it... do whatever you can with it.

You wrote your story very well. It flows very well. Thanks for sharing this and thanks for entering it into my contest.
