Dark, cold1
Slowly it moves2
I stop, I breathe3
It waits for me4
Down there 5
Rippling so quietly6
It's sinister deep staring up 7
A sudden crash upon the rock8
Then the flow takes it away 9
Yet more is waiting10
Always11
I know it keeps me alive12
But the dripping of it illuminates my fears13
In the moonlight it reflects the night14
In the sunlight it blinds the eyes15
The jeti is high up16
One tiny step and I can do it17
Jump over the edge to prove I can and I am not scared18
I step onto the wood19
I look down20
It's smirking at me 21
I can feel it 22
It knows I have to break its surface23
Yet it will take all my blood and strength to do it 24
Help me the voice inside my head tells me25
No need to do this, no need to face the fear, stay in the comfort zone, do not stretch26
But I look over one final time27
The cold, the dark will always be there28
But I am determined my fears will not29
I step and I am free30
I have done it31

This reminds me of peeps you see in movies...with eerie music playing in the background...and you keep screaming in your mind "no, no, don't go down there" but they always go down there. Very descriptive. -
