I Create Illusions

Fleeting yet flowing illusions, of
People and places in dreams, that are
Gone before sunrise does paint on the
Stars a fresh pink which becomes a light blue.1

Childhood gone, or like sweet high’s end
Drifting away quite unnoticed by time,
Needing not life to support one’s soul,
For the illusions that I make are true.

Author notes

Sure the original Ideas were cool but it had no structure... So I re worked it from the early ideas i had written down on paper and came out with this. It is a two stanza lyric in a dactylic tetrameter structure.

I would have liked to make it longer...but it wasn't too easy to write under the circumstances as I'm sure you can imagine.

Critical review would be greatly appreciated,

T.

    nice imagery

I have written similar things whilst similarly under the influence. Have you ever tried LSA? Natural equivalent to LSD, found in Morning Glory Seeds, Hawaiin Woodrose seeds, available legally and quite an expansive and illuminating trip!

I like the contradiction in the illusions that i make are true, sort of parallel consciousness, we are what we feel... like it!

Could be longer as you mentioned but great work!
