I am from Northern Ireland (all my life)and I must say that this election has been the only one in America that I have had an interest in. I do admit that the fact of the matter tis I found having history being made...regardless of the outcome...to be a fascinating aspect for me. 1
You had a female running for President of your country. You had a black man running for President as well. As far as I know tis never been the case. I suppose twas a black man in the past who did so but he did not make it to the final stage as Obama did. It came down to a black man and an older white man versus an older white man and a white female. I kept hearing over and over that regardless the United States would be having the same old thing (older white male) combined with a fresh change. 2
When I heard on the BBC that Obama had won I sent off a silent cheer to America for the choice that twas made. Congratulations for making such advancement and progress. I certainly wish my own country would be able to move forward as yours has clearly done.

Really I wasn't surprised at the win. I'm glad Obama took it because I like Biden and think Palin was a bit of an airhead.

no one i do my research... if you dig deep enough instead of looking at the things that are all about the good obama will do then you will find those that tell the truth and there is also talk radio XP
