Remembering

The past, for Leo and Christophe, held many secrets. These secrets were beginning to haunt Leo, but Christophe didn't let things haunt him. No, he let things eat at him, truly devour him. This is one of the many things that separates the two. 1

Unfortunately, they're separated by much more than that. You see they may work together, they may attend social events together, but behind it all is resentment. At least, resentment on Leo's behalf, no one is ever really sure if Christophe resents. 2

Leo paced his room, back and forth he went. His steps were beginning to echo his thoughts back to him. Continuously he tried to think of what Christophe was planning. The only thing stopping him is that there's nothing for him to scheme. There just isn't a motive; the only thing he could try and hurt would be his relationship with Caroline. But Caroline was well protected by himself, and surely, if it came to it, Carlos could help protect her as well. 4

It had been a very murky evening and Leo had left Christophe to his drunken madness. Strolling the warm streets he heard a crash in the alley up ahead. Walking towards it he found himself facing a tall Spaniard holding a foil in one hand and handkerchief, that was being pressed against his blood covered lips. "Ah, good evening my lovely new victim." First impressions last forever and that is how Leo will always remember Carlos. Tall, bold, and somehow strangely charismatic.6

Leo looked out his window and realized that the sun would be rising soon. The night's sky was slowly being painted, changing from blacks to greys to an off red. Dragging himself over to his coffin, he opened it and slipped in,8

There was a small sudden light pounding at the window. Caroline turned over in her bed, and right as she became comfortable she heard it again. Her eyes opened, then unwillingly they closed, as they did a groan came from her. Blindly, she dragged herself out of her bed and to the window. Softly she rubbed her eyes and looked out the window. Quickly he eyes flew open and a big smile came across her face. She grabbed her a silk robe to wrap around herself. Being very careful she made her way outside the window. "I don't remember the last time i saw you". Her lips curved into a wicked smile, she stood before a man that had brown hair and deep light drown eyes. 10
