Ok y'all, I finally decided to enter this contest, AND actually give you an idea about my novel that I'm doing for NaNo. -_- And also an insight into why I picked my pen name. So let's get this silliness over with and hope I win another shiny thingy for my page. 5

.::"Life of the Blade" Synopsis/Blurb/Thingy::. [it's still in its crappy underdeveloped stage! After all, it's for NaNo so I'm kind of just WINGING it, luckily I got inspired and decided to write this crappy introductory thingy, I hope this counts as a brief paragraph...]7

What has my life been up to this point? Well, ever since I was little I've been dancing my butt off (thanks to mom and her undying desire for me to become a mini her). It's like I've been walking down one straight path, twirling around on poised feet like a wound up doll. But, it's not who I am. Somewhere deep inside of me I longed for something else, something that wasn't just the style, the class, the rich divine life of the rich and famous. 8

A kunai glistens brightly under the moonlight, held carefully in my hands, like a holy symbol of status, importance, destiny. The chi, it flows through my veins, like the longing buzzes in my heart. I'm gonna try and break this path, and go off track to form my own fate.9

I want to follow the path of the ninja, and I'm gonna get there, and mark my destiny.10

I think my first contest on storywrite was to help me find a pen name. In the end I picked Hayden Tiffany Lovelock for four silly little reasons:12

1* I love the name Hayden, I want to name my daughter Hayden.
2* Tiffany's a cute name, and it sounds so ADORABLE with Hayden!
3* H.T. are the initials of my idol, queen and fave writer on EARTH! HT a.k.a Tiger-Lily! Don't you just worship her? http://storywrite.com/Tiger-Lily
4* I LOVE LOVE LOVE the last name Lovelock! A lock of love, a seal, bounded by love! It just sounds so pleasant and poetic!13

There's always something that comes so close that you fight to see which one is better though. The other pen names which I would use for any novels I actually publish are "Robin Meier" and "Tiffany Lewis".14

Anyways, hoped you like that. Just felt like not letting another contest slip by when I could make use of myself. 15

XO I don't wanna post the story here! (I posted the prologue first, then deleted it cause I wanted to procrastinate posting anything) GAH! Even though I've written up to Chapter 6 already. T_T Do I have to? I just have a habit of keeping my novels to myself XD

    very in depth description as to why exactly you chose the pen name that you did. this was a fabulous entry!!!
    I don't like ninja stories, but the excerpt was very good, since this contest isnt to judge your story as to how much the topic appeals to, but more so to judge your ability to describe the story without giving it away, but still capture an audience, as well as judging you on the chosen pen name and if you have a good idea as to why you chose that name. ^^ thanks for the entry and good luck!

      Thank you so much! Me + In Depth Description = Fabulous? What is this world coming to? O.o

      Hehe, I'm very annoyed by Naruto fanfics, and a lot of things dealing with Naruto, but goshdarnit the concept seemed so tempting and creative that I decided to use it and make my own ninja story =_= But I like where it's going though.

        Oh, I was lost at the pen-name part, really... The name Hayden reminds me of Hayley and Hayner...
