Description of Kitigirl's characters

1: Ainslie James- girl, five-foot-seven, protagonist. 13 years old1

Ainslie James, co-captain of her eighth grade cheerleading team, is as playful as any girl in the school. She likes to flirt with the "Toms", and giggles sincerely at every joke she hears. Under the surface of her social tranquility, she holds secrets. Secrets that only her best friend, July O' Connor, knows about her life at home.2

2: July O' Connor- girl, five-foot-three, friend to Payton and Ainslie. 14 years old3

July O'connor tried the cheerleading squad, but it was not for her. She failed in her routine, despite her hours of practice, giving her the nickname, "July O'Cannot." So she joined the band, but kept her childhood friend, Ainsle James, who is too troubled behind the mask of tranquility that covers her hurtful relationship with her step father to partake in the teasing of, "July O'Cannot.4

3: Payton Williams- boy, six feet, friend to July and Ainslie. 14 yrs old5

Payton Williams loves to eat. Between every period, he runs to his locker and grabs a protein bar and chugs it down with a huge glass of creiatein. His friends, July and Ainslie are concerned that he is taking his obbsession with "beefing up" a little to seriously, and may be hurting himself, to which he replies, "If I'm going to be lead blocker when we make it to highschool, I'll need all the weight I can gain."6

4: Ull Ashford- boy, no specifications yet, i just like the name.7

Ull Ashford likes to draw pictures of japanese cartoons in his spare time, earning him the nickname, "Jap". He is the class dweeb, and is constantly ridden by Payton Williams, the power house of the eighth grade football team. He fantasises about getting even with those who pick on him, but is too indecisive to do anything about it. 8
