hello there, why are you sad,1
If i were you i'd be gladder than glad,2
your alive and young, 3
you've barely begun4
and the world is at your feet.5
Boys are stupid,6
no surprise there,7
never accept defeat.8
It's harder than hard to tune out the voices,9
but turn around and see all the choices.10
Your cooler than cool11
and sometimes a fool,12
but never forget your love.13
because people are stupid,14
and boys are dumb,15
and you've got to rise above.16
So here's a bad poem,17
to lift your spirits,18
and tilt up those young 9th grade lips.19
Just listen to me,20
and put on some music,21
and shake off all your woes with your hips.22
