the life of a red dragon

it was a beutiful night, young hatchlings exploring the night sky, others just coming out to join their parnts opn thier midnight hunts. but i was a red dragon, and very speacial. my parents guarded me with all that they had, in strength and flames atleast. as i glided about the cool night sky, a thought occoured to me, what if i where one of those high-prority gold or silver dragons. as i flew the thought grew. a eventualy ren into my best friend, who happend to be a bronze dragon. she was as speacail as me, we went everywhere together. we have been best friends since our hatching (mainly beacuse our mothers were best friends and lived toegther) we have always done everything together. "hey ruby" my friend called to me, gliding up to me "come to join me in our midnight flight?" she asked. i smiled and responed "yeah... branzetta, lets go!" i called exitingly to her. we flew together, over sveral high hilltops. we eventualy landed ontop one, laying on the ground to see the stars and the moon. then we saw the sun and flew home peacfuly, telling eachother what we saw in the stars. as soon as we landed infront of the cave intrance, my mother looked at us and said, "come on girls, get inside, dinner's ready" we walked inside, giggling. her mother smiled and asked "did you have a good night our girls?" we both noded quickly. my little brother, one of the newer hatchlings, came out of his room, rubing his eyes sleepily with one claw-like-hand, walking on the other three, using his wings for balance. he smiled at me and said, "hey ruby...hey branzetta" and walked over to the dinner table. it wasnt long until our fathers came in, laughing about thier worknight. my father was a blood-red dragon, and my frriends father was a snow-white dragon. "ah, that was a great night, huh crimson?" my fathers friend said, with a laugh. my father smiled and responed ,"yeah, you are always in high spirits, dikendon, you are always happy-go lucky." he said laughing full-heartedly. my mother (named telacila, because she is a talc coloerd dragon) looked at him and asked, "had a good worknight, crimson?" he nodes and said, "ofcourse i did, telacila..how was your night?" he asked, smiling. she smiled and said "it was pretty great." she said with a giggle. my mothers friend, (who is a bronze dragon) smiled and said, "how was your night, dikendon?" he smiled and said "it was the greatest, our boss gave us a raise!" he said, smiling then added, "how ways your night, brenacia" she smiled "it was peacful." she said with a slight nod. then my little brother wondered up to my father "hey daddy!" he called exited. fether picked up the small black dragon "hey there midnight, how was your nap?" my brother smiled "it was great!" he said, flairing his wings slightly. my mother had us all seated at the dinner table, and gave us dinner of small owels, sided with hogmeat and ,our all time favorite, meat from a lion. we ate it full heartedly, smiling. after dinner we were so full we had to go to bed.1
