Taking A look at the real world

I look outside my living room window and I see many different things. I think many different things and I remember memories from the past. I try and see my future and wonder what the world will be like years from now. No one knows. No one knows what the future holds. We can only hope that it holds good things and not any bad. We all wonder why things happen. Some believe that things happen for a reason. Others believe that things happen just because they have bad luck. Is there a god, people ask? Is there really heaven and hell? Who or what created earth?  These are questions that people are asking. People walk outside their front door and wonder if they will ever see their house again. People wonder if they will get home safely. People worry. Is anyone happy? How do you know when someone really has a smile on their face? Is it a fake smile? I know I have pretended to be happy many times when I really wasn't. Why do people do that? Why do people hold their feelings inside? Are they afraid of what other people will think? Are they afraid to let their true self show. Why be ashamed if you have done nothing wrong? Why not talk to people and tell someone what is going on in your life. Children are being abused, their parent's don't know it, some parent's know their children are being abused. Do they care? No! Children are missing. Does that mean that their parent's are not taking full responsibility for their children? Do you know where your children are at all times or do you tell yourself and others that you do know where they are so you don't seem like a bad mother, father or guardian? Do you know why teens of all ages are smoking pot, doing drugs, drinking beer, drinking and driving? Do you know why teens of all ages are cutting themselves for attention? Maybe it's because they don't get any attention at home. Maybe it's because they have a low self esteem. Maybe it's because they are getting picked on in school. Why are teens of all ages running away? Why are young teens having sex and wanting babies at age thirteen? Why do you children want to quit school? Why do people feel that they have to lie? Why do people try and act like they are better than everyone else, when really, we are all equal?  Why are we having wars? Why do we not communicate and get along? Are people full of anger? Are people jealous? Are people mad? Why? What are people feeling inside? Why is it that all the good people have to suffer for all the bad people's crimes? How come when someone actually tries to do something good with there life, they don't get any credit for it? How come people say “ I love you “ when they actually don't mean it and really don't even know what the word love means? Do we know the answers to all these questions? Of course not. No one knows the answers to these questions. I don't even know the answers to them. There could be more than one answer to each of these questions. Who knows? 1

The reason I wrote this is because we never know what is going to happen in life. We never know what is going to happen to our loved ones. We never know who is watching us or who is hearing us when we speak. We never know when someone is thinking about us. We never know when something is going to happen. For those who dwell on the past, for those, who think they are alone, for those who think that life will never get better. It might, it might not, we never know what the future holds so live life to the fullest. Live life knowing that you don't and won't have any regrets. Live life being happy, not asking questions like “why” all the time because you can keep asking yourself “why” but you will never get the answer. No one knows the answers. You just have to live life day by day and hope for the best. Life is too precious to be thrown away. It's too short to only live for the bad things. Live your life, be happy and make smart decisions. People say that “ Sometimes it's too late to turn back “ but I don't believe that. Everyone has a choice. Everyone is able to make decisions for themselves and everyone has a voice. You can speak for yourself and you can turn your life around. You never know where your life is headed but I do know one thing. You make your life what you want it!2
