      Yes, that's me!

I know. You don't have to tell me. I'm hideously ugly. I'm used to it. Ha, ha, ha.

      Thank you!

I think it is cool too! Especially when the sun is behind the clouds. Oooohhh...one year it almost stormed on me while I was doing it. Ha ha ha. I didn't care.

      Great News!

For me at least. I found out that you can't see them here but if you go to Storywrite then you can view them there. Strange but true. Here is a link to that page: http://storywrite.com/story/219714

I'm sorry but I don't know what happened to them.

Unfortunately it's not our browser. They are gone. This happened a long time ago to my snow ski picture. I'm not sure when this happened. I haven't been here in a long time. I will let you know if I figure it out. I'm no longer a gold member so I don't think I can repost them.
      Thanks none the less.

      Thank you

I appreciate you kind words. I almost second guessed myself and put words here and there and decided not to. I'm glad you let me know that you liked that. Let's me know I made the right choice. No, I don't think you'd want to try it in the East River. I also appreciate that you doubt that I cannot not inspire people. Yes that made sense. Thanks again.

    This isn't a story Brian....

.... its the essence of you in all your glory. WOW, OMG, I'M GOBSMACKED - not because you are a person who uses a wheelchair who waterskis (I have met many talented people who use a wheelchair) but because of the person you are. I see a person who grabbed his life by the scruff of the neck - I also love the last pic because it shouts 'HERE I AM WORLD - I'M FREE TO BE ME!'

      Thanks

I'm glad you like it. There are people out there with disabilities that put me to shame with their accomplishments. I don't let anything slow me down though. I was blessed after my accident. Most people go through a period of depression after something like this. Some will wish to die. Some even do. I was blessed by God with an immeadiate attitude of "If that's the worst that happens it will be Ok." I felt grateful to be alive. I was thankful for all the things I could still do. I had a friend when I was younger whe wrecked his car while drunk. He was in a comma for several months. He had to relearn literally everything. He said it was like a living nightmare. He was trapped in his mind. He wanted to be able to scream "Turn that Damn TV back on! I was watching that!" but didn't know how. It brings tears to my eyes still to think how lucky I am. Here I am world, by the Grace of God. Here by His plan so that he can help people through me. Thanks again.

Omg, that's YOU?! AWESOME! *takes screen shots* And, no. I'm NOT a stalker. x3 Right, right, I should say somethin' 'bout the pictures. ^-^

Welllll, to tell you the truth, I have no idea what water skiing is. So...it looks fun. I might try it sometime. Awesome pictures, by the way. *-*

      Thank you.

Yep that's my ugly mug. I'm glad you like them, but now you may have broken what ever you used to take that picture. Again, ugly old men don't worry about pretty girls stalking them. Pretty girls worry about ugly old men stalking them, or any stalker for that matter. You're not familiar with water skiing? Well most people ski standing up. However, sitting in a Kan Ski is how people with paralysis ski. Thanks again.

    Brian, Brian...

I would totally chicken out on a opportunity like this.

And BY THE WAY, you are not ugly! Your skull is thicker than you are ugly, Brian.

The last one was a great shot. Nice camera!

      Thanks AC.

It's kind of you to say such sweet things to such an ugly old man. You are right that I'm thick headed though. It runs in my family. These are just a few of the ones I have. The last one is one of my favorites. I had jumped the wake and glided into the bay where every one at the event was watching. I admit it. I'm a showoff. These pictures were taken by a professional photographer. They weren't going to take my picture at first because I went to a different rehab. than the one that hired him. However since he was in the boat that ended up pulling me he couldn't resist. After they saw the pictures they said they would probably use some of the shots for advertising, after all no one would know what rehab. I went to. You should learn to overcome your fear and try some exciting things in life. You might accidently like it!

    Cool......

The water looks dangerous, the last picture is my favorite because of the way the still motion looks. I could never do that, I'm not an adrenaline-junkie.=)

      Not really that dangerous.

I flirt with a lot more danger when I go snow skiing, and cross the parking lot at Walmart. In the last picture I was jumping across the wake and then glided into the bay in front of everyone at the event. I'm not only an adrenaline junkie; I'm an exhibitionist. Take care.
