A very tough teenage life: Chapter 1

Justin Geyson lived a tough life. When he was only eight years old, his parents were divorced. Two long years later, because of his poor grades and lack of schoolwork, he was sent to military school. He did not see his family for two years, and when he was twelve, his older and responsible sister, Victoria, adopted him. He lived with her for six years with her adopted daughter, Julia, until one sad day. Victoria died of illness. That's where this story comes to play. Justin, an eighteen year old irresponsible teenager, has to take care of the house and eight year old niece without any help at all. Can he do it? Or will he learn to be responsible the hard way? Read to find out!1

On breezy fall morning, the two both had to get ready to go to school. Justin poured himself a bowl of Cheerios while Julia got her hair tied in a ponytail. "Are you ready, Julia?" Justin yelled to her. "It's quarter after eight!" "I'm coming, I'm coming," she said, combing her curly hair. She stepped out of the bathroom. "How do I look?" she questioned, making a pose. "Good, let's go!" Justin made up. "What about breakfast?" she asked, staring at his bowl. "I need some, too." "It's too late, the bus will be here any second." "But I have a big test today. I need something in my brain." "Shut up, you have lunch in one hour anyways," he brought up. "No, three hours to be exact," she corrected. "Oh well," he teased. "Two hours different. What a shock." Then he got on his backpack and his baseball cap on. "Let's go, geronimo." So the two walked outside and got on the bus that was waiting for them.2

That evening, since Justin got home before her, he called his step brother, Gary Parker. They were like best pals. "How's Julia?" Gary asked him as soon as he heard Justin's voice. "Good, I guess. I don't know what to have for dinner, though. Last night after my sister died, I ordered pizza, but you can't eat that every night," Justin explained. "My mom can make you dinner," Gary offered nicely. "You can come over, if you want." "Nah. I can't drive because I don't have a license, and it's a long walk. Remember in home ec.? We learned how to make homemade pizza, and I could probably do that." "Yeah, that's a great idea." Then Justin said bye, and hung up. He opened the zipper of his backpack, and took out his report card envelope. He opened it up, and when he saw it, he gulped. He had five D's and one F on it. There was a letter that required a parent's signature. Uh oh, he thought. They don't know my sister is dead, and they think I'm not alone. Maybe I can call dad and ask him to sign it. Justin's dad wasn't the perfect dad, far from it. Justin has been mad at him ever since he and his mom got a divorce, but he is especially mad now that he's not helping him with Julia one bit. He dialed his dad's number, and he answered. It sounded like it was at a party. "Hello? Who is this?" his dad asked, sounding drunk. "Dad, it's me. Justin," Justin whispered. "I need you to sign something." His dad rolled his eyes. "Son, I'm busy. I'm at uh... business meeting... yeah, that's it," he lied. "Dad, just give it up. I know you're at a party." "Okay, whatever. Call your mom, maybe she can help you." Then he hung up on Justin. Justin now hated his dad. Call your mom? He didn't even help his own son! What a jerk!3

Author notes

This story was something that actually happened in Sims, but I added a lot of details and other stuff to make it better.

    loved it its great

  • Uhm, sorry if this bums you out, but I don't think it made much sense. It was confusing, because in big parts of it, I lost track of who was talking when.
The last paragraph is a little too long.

    ~sorry.
