On a frosty winter's night, in the month of October, at 1:00 O'clock, a child was brought to this world, from the skies above, in the hands of two angels! A cute little baby girl was born at Mrs. Johnson's house. The complexion of the child was fairer than the dirty snow, lying on the window pane, that was glinting with moon light. The child had patches of red roses on her cheeks, and behind her long eye-lashed eye-lids, were those brilliant black eyes, that were the symbol of her intelligence. Her rose filled lips lined the innocent mouth. Her hands were clutched tightly as if daring to grab the world in her little fists. Her eyes, full of brightness and hope, didn't see the lines on her hands, that told that there was no line of fate in there at all.1
The moon of that cold frosty night was watching the child lovingly and it was smiling at her frail little soul, that was so determined and optimistic, but at intervals the moon's smile became sad and watery, as if thinking that the child's fate may become as cold and frosty as the night was. There were only a few stars on the sky, all watching her with love an' care. The night's fairy, with her beautiful wings came to the child and whispered in her ear:2
"Oh little angel! Always love the night and the beautiful moon surrounded by hopeful stars don't love the day that enters with that Sun who is so proud and who makes us all vanish! You'll see Oh sweet child! Only we are your true friends and whenever you will be sad you could hide your tears in my feathers and no one will see. I'll also deprive you of those evil shadows brought by Sun. Be mine Oh little beauty!"3
The fairy starred in her eyes and her rosy lips smiled at her as if saying "I will" and than suddenly a lonely shadow crossed her face and her eyes spoke "I Will have to won't I" , the first shadow of her fate. And the night's pretty fairy went away with a sad smiled on her face praying; "Oh child may you be intelligent, may you be loving, may you be caring and may you be the one who sacrifices her happiness for other" and she smiled as if promising and saying "You know I'll be you know old fairy" and she really knew that's why a tear trickled out of those golden eyes of the fairy.4
Her eyes fixed at the window watching the moon and smiling, that enchanting smile of a child, she waved her clenched fist at the moon as if calling aloud "Cheer up Oh friend! I'll be happy" And the moon nodded a bit unsurely but rather reprovingly.5
And than the Sun rose above and above the skies shattering the mirror of night and making the stars fade. The first day of her life had arrived and she felt the air suffocating but she didn't cry she waited for the night to cry. The Sun didn't welcome her rather looked at her disdainfully and she felt a jolt of strong hatred towards the Sun but she merely glance at it and then slept. Then again came the beautiful night and she cried as if checking the truth of fairy's words. And the days passed on and on. She developed a habit of sleeping in the morning and waking at night. The fairy daily appeared and gave her the same lonely pray and she daily smiled as if nodding "sure". The fairy disappeared as she reached her 3rd month and that night cute child's first tear of true pain trickled slowly down her rosy cheek and into nothingness, her first sacrifice to the life, her first loss, the fairy who had become a close friend was the first betrayal. Did she knew that she'll have to pay more to live she wouldn't have cried that silently and she wouldn't have felt that lonely. But she went on so did life because time won't stop, nor will your life and nor will your fate. She had to learn it and she did.6
