Long Distance Love

Dear Jessie,
Just a short note to let you know how much I miss you. I hate this place. There is so much stress here, I just can't take it sometimes. AND being away from you is more than I can handle. I really hope they let us come home for Christmas, but it's not looking good. That's what you get for being married to a specialist!! Not enough of us to go around. Oh well, at least I can provide for you and little Tasha. I can't wait to see my baby girl, and hold her in my arms. The pictures you sent was unbelievable...I still can't believe she's here...and ours!
You look beautiful in the pictures too, sweetheart. I miss you so much, sometimes I cry. Please keep the cards and letters coming...I share the less intimate parts with the guys. Some of them have never gotten a letter, in the seven months we've been here, not one letter!! I am considered a very lucky guy.
Have to run...duty calls!!
Be well, hug Tasha for her daddy.
I love you all very much!!!

My dearest Jason,
I miss you too, love. More with each passing day. I keep a smile on my face, and your love in my heart, just as you asked me to, and just as you said it would, it helps me through. I am sending more pictures of Tasha. You can't believe how much she's grown already!!! You might be missing us, but I know you, and you wouldn't be around, if you had to change your daughter's diapers!!! You can't imagine what a mess, one little baby can make!!! She has just started eating pears, and now there is a sweet aroma along with the mess. I am enjoying being a mom, and your mom is such a big help. She knows everything about taking care of Tasha. No wonder you turned out so well!! Your dad is bitching because he has to cook for himself and Troy...but you know them, they are enjoying "baching" it for awhile, and they get to eat all that lousy fast food, Burger King and Kentucky Fried Chicken! He he...they probably haven't cooked since she was gone!! Anyway,
nothing much new. We just put up the Halloween decorations. Tasha is in awe of the witch whirly'gig. I am going to dress up as a witch and your mom is going to be a gypsy, her idea of course. I'm glad to have her around, she tries to keep things
as normal as possible with you gone.
I miss you, and want you home. I pray each night this "war" will end, and we will be in each other's arms again. Until then, enjoy the pictures and goodies. I will write everyday as promised.
Take care
Stay safe.
Always

This was wonderfu and so fitting for today, as I'm sure you'd planned for it to be when you wrote it. I really enjoyed reading this. Thank you so much for entering. Good luck. God Bless!
