A Lost Soul on...Earth

This place
Where am I?
Every thing was so…misplaced
The sky was snow white
Nothing but grassy fields here
This didn’t feel like Heaven
Nor did it look like Hell
This looked like earth but…
It wasn’t
There was others wandering aimlessly ahead of me
I didn’t know who they were
There faces…
There expressions were empty
I felt…happy?
But why?
I turned to scan the place
There was a road
I followed it and it came to an intersection
There were no cars
The roads were empty
I kept following the road
Passing others
Standing there,
Sitting down,
Looking down,
Or…crying
I continued down the road
Leading to stairs?
Now it was getting weird
I walked down the stairs
Then I saw Eric, Angel’s cousin’s boyfriend
“What are you doing here?”I asked
“Oh, I am looking for Elizabeth, “he said smiling.
Elizabeth is Angel’s cousin and Eric’s girlfriend
He then walked up the stairs
I stood there bemused
I shook my head and headed back up the stairs
Every one was gone
I was the only one
I must be dead?
If I was dead maybe I can ask god for help
“God,” I shouted, “where am I? Can you help me?”
No answer
This must be a dream I thought
I then closed my eyes and tried to force myself awake
I opened my eyes, dazed
It was a dream
My eyes grew heavy
That dream was calling back to me
I wanted to know what will happen next in my dream
So I closed my eyes and let my dreams take over
I was there again
Still no one was there
Empty once again
I turned around
There was a building that looked like a library
Glass walls and doors
I walked across the field
As I came closer I saw angel talking withher older sister Krystal
Krystal was holding Aiden
Aiden was Krystal’s kid
I think he is one or two?
A smile grew across my face
I was so happy!
Seeing Angel, I felt so relieved
I opened the heavy door and walked in
Angel and Krystal were laughing, exchanging conversations
I went behind Angel
“Hey Angel!” I shouted in attempt to scare her
Nothing
Maybe she didn’t hear me?
“Hi Angel,” I said right next to her ear
Still no response
“Uh...babe? Can you hear me?”I spoke as if I was about to cry
Nothing
I must be dead
Aiden then looked my direction
I turned around thinking that he was looking at someone else
But there was no one
I then waved at him
A big smile grew across his face
He jumped up and down in Krystal’s arms laughing
“Oh you’re so jumpy today!” Krystal said laughing, “you happy seeing your aunty?”
He kept his eyes on me giggling and making noises
I am…dead
Only Aiden can see me
I then stood next to Angel like I always do when we are together
I then tried to hold her hand
But I couldn't
It was as if I was a ghost
But I still had my hand like if I was
Pretending, it made me extremely sad
I am alone…1

I put my head down and began to cry
