A seventeen year old (can be a guy or girl) keeps seeing a man that seems to be his father watching him from the shadows. The problem is the dad has been dead for two years. Our main character is confused, hurt and angry when his dad steps out of the shadows one day to tell him he was forced to fake his own death.1

Explore why the dad faked his own death. Was it the psycho mom about to blow any second? Was it the angry business partner? Or something else entirely?3
How is the teen feeling? If a son, does he feel that his father son bonding was taken? If a daughter, does she feel like she has no one to turn to?4
