Once upon a time, there lived a very intelligent cannibal and his ugly wife. The man was very angry because he chose to marry such a wretched monster when he could've had any other woman he wanted. Not long after they were wedded, they had a beautiful little baby girl whom they named Desdemona. Everything was perfect for a short amount of time, until the intelligent cannibal got tired of looking at his ugly wife and ate her for dinner. 1
After a while the man married again, this time to a woman a little bit prettier but still not as pretty as his baby girl. His new wife wasn't very pretty but she had lots of money from all the cakes she sold. The woman worked in a bakery, but she added a secret ingredient. Every night she would roam the village and kidnap little children, duct tape their mouths, and chop them up to put them in a blender. By the morning, the child would be ready for cake mixing. 2
Desdemona's step-mother also had two not so apealing daughters, named Lilith and Renu. They helped their mother bake her cakes and added their own ingredients of all their closest friends. Soon after coming to the family, the step-mother became very fond of Desdemona. She loved her tasty smell, ravishing good looks and sinful attitude towards others. But felt that there could only be room for one sinful person in the family. So she planned to kill her that night, and make her a main part of her latest recipe. 3
The next night, the step-mother tip toed to Desdemona's room. She assumed she was fast asleep and would be easy to suduce into her cake mix. This cake needed to be perfect, for it was being made for the King and Queen and their annual ball for their son. It was his birthday and they had asked her to bake the perfect dessert for the occasion. Just as the shovel in her hand was inches from her step-daughters head, she woke up. Staring at her with devilish eyes. 4
"Oh mother, what do you think you're doing? Do I have to show you how to kill someone?" Desdemona asked as she grabbed the shovel out of her step-mother's long bony hands and lifted it gently over her head. 5
Within seconds, the not so pretty step-mother was lying on the floor unconscious. Her head was split open directly in the middle where the shovel had hit, and blood as oozing out of the long, deep crevice. The wound was so deep it shown through to the bone, leaving Desdemona feeling accomplished. But, her work was not done. Using her bright mind and intelligence, she carefully slaughtered both of her step-sisters and her father the cannibal. She had learned only the best from her murderous parents. Killing was her biggest talent and she knew it would help get all the rancid people off the earth. With the fouled weapon in hand, she walked outside into the night. 6
Lilithe and Renu, had had a few very loathsome friends that used to torment little Desdemona when they would come over to play. She felt that they owed her something now that the step-sisters were dead, and Desdemona was the one in power. Creeping along the friends bedroom window, she smashed the shovel against the glass and waited to make her next move. Inside the house, the girls were abruptly woken from their sleep. They watched the vile air creep in through the space in the glass in complete horror, as Desdemona planted a cement block on the ground to act as a step to get into the house. Once she arrived, she tied both girls up in thick rope and smashed them off the head a few times. After the 4th or 5th time, both had fallen into a deep coma of eternity. Satisfied with her work, Desdemona gathered their blood and organs into a jar and brought them back to her home.
She finished her step-mother's cake baking by baking a cake so poisonous and so disgusting that its stench was enough to put the cockroaches in their graves. 7
After baking the cake, Desdemona delivered it to it's customers, the King and his Queen. She set the cake on the table in the hall where the most people would be dancing and sat down on the nearby staircase. As the ball began, she watched all the putrid, incoherent peasants lusting after their sweethearts. She thought how appalling that those people are falling in love with the same bastards that will soon divorce from them. Out of all people there, she saw the most repugnant boy standing towards the back all alone. He had no one to dance to or to stare at inconspiciously, so Desdemona devised a plan. She waltzed up to the creature and demanded a dance, letting him soak in her alluring scent and leave him so addicted he couldn't look away. Once he was under her spell, she took him to the table with her poisonous cake on it. She told him how polite and irresistable he would be to her if he would just take a piece of her cake. Watching the boy slowly take bite after bite, she waited eagerly. 8
After his first bite he became intoxicated by the venom soaked into the batter and her carcinogenic scent. He could'nt stop eating it until there was nothing left. Not even a single crumb. Then the boy began to cough repeatedly, causing him to black out and drop to the floor. His throat closed up, choking him and cutting off the blood from his chest to his head. As his body became numb he slipped into a sudden death, with a constant dreaming of the most vibrant nightmares. Desdemona was suddenly exultant. She had been waiting for this day forever, when she would finally get the chance to control all of the village and win full and utter power. The beautiful little baby girl who was now fully grown into the most cannibalistic daughter in the country, lived happily ever after. Ready to rule the tiny village of imbeciles with nobody to get in her way every again. 9

A twist on Cinderella

He, he, first I thought it was based off thin Jack and his ugly wife till the stepmother came in. True, this was a good twist, but it wasn't really dark. It was merely gore. I like the dark side better. Still, you showed it well-cannibal's lovely daughter grows up and becomes...erm, a cannibal. I also liked the way she killed the prince. However the killing of the stepmother seemed too abrupt-like she suddenly woke up and killed her doesn't have that killer class. Keep it up.

Deliciously revolting! I studied Othello last year - did you notice the word 'demon' inside 'DesDEMONa'? I really quite like the idea for this.
Since you specified that it's not finished, I won't gripe about the typos and spelling errors ('canabal' should be 'cannibal'), although I will suggest that you put more detail into this as you come to edit it.
Thank you so much for entering my contest!
