A Journey of the Heart

Shall I never gaze into your eyes while1

I walk on this cold abandoned land?2

Will I ever see your enchanted smile3

As we walk hand in hand upon the sand?4

In my lonesome quest for you I falter.5

My heart is starved, and my treasure map torn.6

It is my weary path I must alter.7

The certainty of our lost love I mourn.8

I continue this stagnant odyssey.9

Our love is measured by geodesy,11
