My notebook pile

My notebook pile was growing,1

My pens kept running out.2

I knew there was a better way,3

And I knew beyond a doubt.14

That people shared my passion,5

knew how to make words flow.6

They could critisise and encourage me,7

and help my writing grow.28

So I turned to my computer,9

and typed in the word 'write'.10

and to my pleasant surprise,11

I found this amazing site.312

Where the people were creative,13

and could make me life and cry.14

I could help them write these stories,15

and they'd help me with mine.416

No more need for paper,17

no more need for pens.18

Helping the environment,19

and having fun with friends.520

I'm never going to leave here,21

and I'll never leave you.22

As long as I, can keep writing,23

on my SW!24

    Hey, this was good.

Simple and to the point expression of gratitude for this great site and what it provides us artisans of the word. Yes, I'm rather partial to it myself. You've a few typos and hitches in count but all in all I enjoyed it as a heartfelt expression of appreciation for what this site has to offer.

I really enjoyed this clever little poem and understand exactly how the writer feels.
14th line - I think you meant 'laugh' and not 'life'.
    Well done!
