Day 0 ~ Before Crisis1

I look around my small apartment as I sigh. My name is Sai, I been living in Korea for eight years now and the only contact I have with Australia, especially NSW, is through my pen-pal Invidia.3

I recently joined an IT organisation called Lone Wolves which has designed a messaging system for PSP, DS and mobiles which have no need to connect to the net. So far they have been successful and people, especially within NSW have been unknowingly been downloading the patches for this system, in case of an emergency, like the one NSW will encounter.4

I look outside and watch the rain gently tap on the window. It usually entrances me but today, it hasn’t and I don’t think it will either. 5

I walk over to my laptop and glance at the screen as it held the convo me and Invidia are having. She is busy informing me about Ichigo, her beloved. I smile but I felt so guilty that she is going to suffer because of what some rouge doctors from the company I am with, created a virus that drives people into a more cannibalistic nature, even the person is unaware of the disintegration that they are undergoing.6

“Keep strong my Lychee” I mutter as I look away and out the window, praying for her safety. A plan hatched in my mind as I remember about the sanctuaries within NSW and decide to do something with them. It may take a while to do, but at least I can save one life.
