Clocks

one day i woke up inside a clock
the ticking almost drove me insane
in my attempt to stop the time
the hands strangled me at noon1

at my final breath
i broke the hands
and i finally made my way out of the clock
and when i took that first step2

i fell
and i fell
deeper and deeper
until i hit ground
i was in the center of the earth
and you were there
i couldnt get to you
so i started digging
around and around
in a circle
until i finally got to you
then i realized exactly where i was
i was in my heart
i had kept you loked in there forever
and now the gorund was breaking
my heart was breaking
so i let you go
and we walked together to the surface
it was very long
but not long enough
because every step that i took
you took one step away
and when we got the surface you were on the other end of the earth
and i cried
causei will never see you again
and in all my sadness
i flooded the earth
because i i couldnt be with you
then no one could
so i saved you
but i drowned myself too
oh well.
at least you can be happy
on the other side of the earth
