ACT ONE2
SCENE SIX3
A bus stop. DELAINE stands alone looking angrily in the direction of someone who has already passed. She is dressed like a slut, as usual. 45
DELAINE: What do you think I am? Some sort of prostitute? The nerve of some people!6
CHLOE enters. 78
CHLOE: Yes.9
DELAINE: What?10
CHLOE: Yes, he thought you were a prostitute. Why else would he offer you money for sex?11
DELAINE: And am I supposed to take that?12
CHLOE: Well, you could take it as a complement. If prostitute is the look you're going for.13
DELAINE: Who are you?14
CHLOE: Don't you recognize me? (mocks her) You stole my man and cheated on my Austin.15
DELAINE: Oh yeah, Austin's "best friend." And one of Tyler's too? (laughs) The little shrink?16
CHLOE: Psychic.17
DELAINE: Same thing.18
CHLOE: Actually, not.19
DELAINE: So, still depressed about it? Months later? You know I broke it off with Tyler. He was getting a little old. So he's free if you want him.20
CHLOE: Actually, I'm reveling in the happiness of being without him. To tell you the truth I'm at the best point in my life. I'm actually happy.21
DELAINE: Yawn. Like I care.22
CHLOE: And you act as though you are still in high school.23
DELAINE: Mmm-hmm... My life still going to lead to an "unfortunate end?"24
CHLOE: Yes, the future doesn't usually change unless the person does.25
DELAINE: Oh, lovely.26
CHLOE: I'm surprised you remembered.27
DELAINE: Unfortunately.28
CHLOE: I'm like to say I'm sorry—29
DELAINE: But I ruined the lives of you and your best friend?30
CHLOE: Ruined our lives? Ha. No, I guess I am sorry. But there is nothing I can do about it. I don't know the specifics for you. But no one deserves a future like that looming over them.31
DELAINE: It's better than none at all.32
CHLOE: None at all?33
DELAINE: I remember Austin saying once that you can't see your own future.34
CHLOE: So he's talking about me now.35
DELAINE: No, he was concerned about you. He talked about you so much. It got annoying.36
CHLOE: Cause he wasn't talking about you?37
DELAINE: Wow, someone's hateful.38
CHLOE: They always said I could hold a mean grudge.39
DELAINE: Yeah, can't hold a man either. 40
CHLOE: At least I'm not being called a prostitute.41
DELAINE: Are you waiting for the bus or just insulting me?42
CHLOE: Insulting you. Well, now that that's done, I'd better be going.43
DELAINE: Yes, now go.44
CHLOE: Good-bye!45
CHLOE walks forward. Bus sounds are heard, she turns and cries out. There is a blackout with bright lights are flashing.4647
DELAINE: Oh my god!48

That was actually amusing, even the end bit. Does she die???
Very entertaining read, but can't say it was overly-witty.
Thanks for entering.

Uhh... they are couple hot bimbos? Pretty funny, though. What are the two characters main theme, other than to argue about ex boyfriends? Is there a sexual tension between them? Overall, I'd would say that wasn't bad and, wonder what they looked like. Keep up the good work. Insulting each other usually undertones possessive attics.

No, only Delaine is a bimbo. Haha. Chloe is kind of weird and awkward... but if I had the beginning half of the play up you could tell that. That also includes their appearances.
No sexual tension. The back story behind them is kind of confusing to explain. But Chloe is physic and she told Delaine about her not so great future in an angry state...
