Well my dear, dear friends as all hallow’s eve, ( What Halloween used to be called !) draws near,
People love to huddle together next to their fireplaces and tell each other the scariest ghost stories.
I am no exception to that rule ! So here goes !5

Wanda was a very ancient witch, she was some 500 years old.
Not that old really when you stop and think about it.
She always said, that her secret to a long life was eating plump healthy babies that were just a couple of days old !
she said that’s when they were the juiciest, Yum..6

Now keep in mind that the oldest witch in the world “the queen of all the witches was at least 10,000 years o ld, wanda was still a baby.
Whenever you hear news reports of young babies going missing, please remember this story, and it will give you chills up and down you’re spin.7


Well it so happed that hallow’een was just a week away..
Wanda was wondering where in the world she was going to haunt and hunt for her fresh supply of young babies ?
When it suddenly struck her, I haven’t been to the Oakville, Ontario area in a dog’s age..
So that was it. Oakville, Ontario, Canada was her unsuspecting target

Halloween arrived right on time as usual October 31st.
Wanda was up early that morning getting herself prepared to go out haunting and spooking.
She put on her best pink robe and hat,
And off she went on her super sonic broom.
She arrived in Oakville right at dusk,
Which is as we all know the perfect spooking time.
She prowled around on her broom looking for unattended babies ( Those were the easiest to steal. )
And at long last she found a daycare unattended.
Well she swooped down to snatch up a few of the precious morcels, and her broom suddenly stopped.
She fell to the floor with a thump.9

The local police were all over her in a minute.
Well poor old wanda ended up spending Halloween in oakville’s town jail.
Next year maybe she’ll pick another town.
