Chapter Six "Crashed Confusion"

With all hope of the door opening lost, Sarah searched the room for a way out. She pulled herself up next to a rusty old work desk, and found only sheets of paper. Remembering the marker in her pocket she quickly folded up the papers and placed a couple in with it. She was not sure where or why she would need these things. Having this however made her feel safer. The door slowly began to open, and an arm crept inside. With a quick flick the dim light above her went out. She fell back down to the ground. Her forearm was somehow bleeding again. The door shut tight. She used a couple pieces of paper to cover her wound...but the blood was pouring to much, to fast. She began to feel light-headed. Her body went numb, and she was on the floor.1

She woke up behind the wheel of her car, at the same place she had rolled down the hill. The sky was clear and she had a bruise on her left shoulder from hitting the door. It was as if nothing she remembered had happened. So she started the car back up and headed to Gina's. She pulled into the driveway and walked up the steps. Gina came running out to her. Gina hugged her and Sarah began to tell about her experiences. Gina took no real concern to it...saying it was only a dream...and your safe now. Sarah walked down the steps to the guestroom, the basement. It looked like the wearhouse she had seen, and rememberd so well. Boxes stacked metal doors. It all felt the same to her. She was lead to her cot for the night. Gina said her goodnights...and Sarah closed her eyes.2

Her eyes opened to the cool feeling of stream water on her legs. She was back in the forest, and could hear the howls in the distance. Trying to stay calm she decided this time she would not hide. She stayed her ground by the stream. A car pulled up. Red stationwagon with dirt all over the front. A shadowy figure stepped out of the car. It was Mark. He picked her up and helped her into the front seat. They drove out a ways untill they got to a highway intersection. Right before her eyes she saw herself driving by in her car. A white van soon followed. She told Mark to follow them. He pulled out into the traffic and stepped on the gas. The white van hit the breaks for an instant causing it to pull of the road. Mark hit the van, and the van slowly turned Sarah's car down the road. Her head hit the dash, she was out again.3
