Frustration

I can't seem to fight these feelings,1

Struggling against all of life's dealings.2

Wheels keep spinning in place,3

Freed only by her grace.4

My only salvation is my love,5

Praying for help from above.6

Stuck in a rut and sinking,7

Frustration grasps me, keeps me from thinking.8

Snapping at everyone and everything,9

Bored takes me and keeps me from mending.10

I meet resistance around every turn,11

Maybe I just refuse to learn?12

Can't accept truths, fell to temptation,13

My life is full of and surrounded by deprevation.14

I'll never give in through the frustration,15

I can fight and overcome all the complication.

Author notes

I wrote this to describe my frustration at the moment, I've been feeling like I'm spinning my wheels. It seems to me like I just keep hitting the old problems in new forms and it's getting to me slowly.

    i understand what ya mean....the only thing is i like staying n my comfort zone it's nice n quit there...well that's me, i liked it

    The definition of insanity I've learned is to do the same thing over and over again expecting different results. I'm going through the same thing right now. I've decided to go out on a limb and do something different. I've had to do it more than once in my life, but I still get stuck sometimes.

    When you decide to try something different, that is out of the ordinary for you, and perhaps out of your comfort zone, you'll be surprised what may come of it. It's great when you pull through, past that rut.

    When I make decisions to try something out of the ordinary, the wheels will actually be spinning and taking me someplace instead of staying stationary.

    Just some thoughts that went through my mind as I read this.
