"Dallyn." My voice was hardly audible and the wind brushed it away as if it meant nothing, but he heard.2
"Natalie. . ." his voice was warm and soothing as my heart sped up to meet the reaction when he touched me.3
"You know no matter what happens now I'll always love you." My hand snaked up his torso and formed a ball in his dark brown hair.4
"Listen to what your heart says." I forced myself to look up into blazing blue eyes set under heavy lids.5
"You know what it says." I replied simply, the answer was there. If he couldn't see it then we had a problem.6
All of him was the answer. My heart wanted him and only him and for some strange reason every fiber in him wanted to reject that. His hand twirled a piece of my nearly black hair around his finger and it calmed me. His sharp cheekbones were drawn tight and his lips were a straight line as he contimplated his options. He couldn't leave me, he couldn't hurt me but he could tell me how wrong I was.7
"Natalie." he kissed each of my eye lids. "My love, sweet Natalie."8
"Dallyn. . ."9
"Why are you scared?" he could sense even when his arms securely held me to his body I was afraid. Of what exactly I didn't know.10
"I love you." My hand that was hold by his dropped to my side, he took a sharp breath and moved me away slightly. He closed his eyes and took a step backwards, the three words I was never allowed to say and I had just said them. "You don't have to say it back." I said hurriedly as hung my head.11
