Sentiment(Part4)

How many times could she make plans to have another person destroy them? She looked at both men trying to stay calm.1

Firstly it was Casimir that her rage was aimed at “So you want to become a vampire do you?”2

She picked him up and carried him to the chair; she pushed him to make him sit. “Do you know what it’s like?” she laughed “No, of course not, how could you?” flicking her auburn hair out of her face, she paced the floor furiously “It never stops you from having needs, from wanting, then there is your desire to survive on top of which you have the struggle for your sanity, which is made worse because of the despair that you feel when you are alone”3

She moved towards Casimir provocatively,  shooting Lorenzo a piercing look, her eyes were inviting, they were like golden pools with tiny blue ripples. “You have dreams you know” she said as she straddled Casmir’s lap, he shifted a little “You have nightmares, lots of nightmares” she looked at Lorenzo “You never told me how to stop those, did you?”4

She turned her attentions back to Casimir “Have you ever been so lonely that with each new day that dawns, you wish you could die?”  Her words brought tears to Casmir’s eyes “Take a chance to be happy, find someone, grow old, you have that choice”5

She turned away from both men “You are very limited to the things that you can do when you are a vampire, being immortal isn’t all it’s cracked up to be” She put her head in her hands “This is hopeless, I can’t decide”6

The dawn was fast approaching, and although the sun wouldn’t harm her, she was very sensitive to the light. She turned on her heels and went back to the cave.7

She screamed and started throwing things around, she raged to herself for several minutes until she realised she wasn’t alone. 8

She dropped to her knees; Lorenzo joined her, watching her, waiting. She ran her finger across his brow “Why did you never tell me?”  She arched her back as his fingers rubbed gently on her neck. 9

“I would hear you calling to him, I thought you loved him?”10

She stood up and gently paced the floor “Nightmares, over and over again, the same thing, night after night” He went to her side and kissed her like he had never done before, she ached for more, but knew there was something she had to do first.11

Kissing Lorenzo gently on the cheek, she leaves him watching after her. The more she thought about it, the more she was convinced that her sub conscious was trying to tell her something.12

Casmir’s door was still open, she walked in and found him on his knees, she thought maybe praying. His heart was heavy as he spoke to her. “You had given me a lot to think about, I wasn’t sure if it was what I wanted, but after thinking about it…..” she turned away “Christina, you have chosen haven’t you?”13

“I was lonely, afraid that I would be on my own for eternity, I needed someone” she kissed him gently on the cheek “I didn’t realise I had already found my destiny”14

“You didn’t realise he loved you?”  She shook her head “And what of me?” 15

“I heard nothing from you, I got over you, I guess those nightmares were telling me to let you go” 16

He pulled her close “I still love you Christina, I can’t accept what you are telling me”17

“You have to, you had doubts, that is enough reason not to proceed with it” Her look was gentle and loving “I still love you Casimir, I will not take your mortal life away from you, you deserve more, be happy my love”18

With that she left and went back to the cave, Lorenzo had cleared the mess and packed her things, “How did you know I was coming back?”19

He smiled “The way you move for me my sweet when I touch you, you never reacted like that with his touch” his wicked smile caused a shiver down her spine  “So, where are we going?” she inquired.20

“I don’t know, but we have an eternity to find the perfect spot” They kissed passionately, at last she knew that she had found her inner peace. Her dream a reality21
