Sustained in happiness1

The Fanfare of Love,
Began in greatness,
The Chord of Hate,
Rarely heard2

The Overture of Life,

A Scherzo of Enjoyment.3

The Overture of Life,
Ends in Dissonance.
The Fugue of Friendship
Dies in anger4

The Fanfare of love,
Has ended in death.
The Chord of Hate,
Starts in Silence5

The Overture of Life,
The Fanfare of Love,
The Fugue of Friendship,
A Scherzo of Enjoyment.6

The Requiem of Death,
Has been Sung.
The Perfomer's work
Was rewarded with tears7

The Resonance of Life,
Still rings in your Ears.
The memory of The Symphony,
Will never leave your mind.

Author notes

I wrote this one morning out of boredom (and the need to write something) while listening to Prelude and Fugue by J.S. Bach and A Night on Bald Mountain by Mussorgsky.
